At first I want to make a general suggestion: for all the communication preceeding the conference I should very much like to prefer handling this here in the forum instead via email. As a matter of fact, I’d like to avoid emailing upon that entirely, to keep things as simple and reliable as possible. In my opinion, the advantages of that are obvious: we have all information constantly in one place. No messing around with dozens of emails, which gets tiresome after some months of preparing a project. More than that, other interested parties (who are not on the MUFI mailing list) could step in and get easily informed as well. The only thing needed for you is to bookmark this page and stay informed. – Let’s see if that works.
The other thing I’d like to suggest is to schedule the amount of two workdays onto two whole workdays, instead of three workdays, starting and finishing around noon. I think that works best practically; and you have one day extra for arrival and departure respectively. Especially for those coming from Scandinavia or other places outside Germany it will be difficult to get to Leipzig within just 4 or 5 hours. As the Druckkunstmuseum is not working on Saturdays, I hereby suggest to plan Thursday and Friday for the conference, hence Wednesday and Saturday for travelling. At the venue we have time from 10am to 5pm.
